Ahahahahaha. I seriously regret not buying that volume of サザエさん strips when I was in Japan!

So I was sifting through my MSN contact list on Tuesday night when I noted that Clarence's nickname featured a French telephone number. ASSuming that he'd already left for his two-month student exchange at INSEAD's main campus in France, I got angwee and messaged him. To my relief, he had yet to leave, but was due to leave on Wednesday night.

Though when I stop to think of it, he would have left without our send-off, had I not noticed. PFFFFFT!

...and so I promptly texted XF, Princess, Nizam, and Mattie, but was unable to contact the rest, no thanks to The Divine Intervention of the Hairbrush that led to The Samsung's Swim In The Toiletbowl. XF volunteered to contact the rest, thankfully, and so we decided to meet up earlier for dinner at T3 to catch up, while waiting for Big Daddy to turn up for his check-in.

Widdy, XF, Jaron, Shutian and I had dinner at Secret Recipe, and it was fun catching up and laughing our asses off. We headed up to the departure hall when Clarence finished his check-in, and we stood around, chatting and laughing again until it was time to leave. It was most fortunate, indeed, that Nizam managed to make it just in time to see him off! :D

We decided to head to The Coffee Club for drinks after Clarence passed through immigrations at around 2320 (20 minutes to rush to his plane!), and we also shared a slice of mudpie as we mused and chatted some more. Nizam's treat, Widdy's Almighty Airport Staff discount. Beaucoup love! The night was already beginning to wind down for most of them who had worked the entire day, though, so we parted ways at around 0020.

It was nice; I missed hanging out with these people. >_<



...and OMG. That's one less member of our motley little mahjong crew! ARRRRRGH CLARENCE PLEASE RETURN BEFORE I LEAVE FOR THE STATES SO THAT WE CAN PLAY AT LEAST ONE MORE GAME! YOU'RE NOT EVEN IN FRANCE YET, AND MY HANDS ARE ITCHING ALREADY! D:


Addendum : The flooring in T3's departure hall gives me slight vertigo. Egad.

I have human feet and pretty nails again, for the first time in, eh... AGES.

I was bemoaning the fate of my grotesque feet to strawberrydots over MSN during the weekend, and she very kindly gave me a free manicure + pedicure yesterday as we chatted/bitched the afternoon away, when I went to meet her to give her the birthday goodies I'd promised her.

She also gave me an adorable recipe book on cupcakes for my birthday gift, which I read before going to bed. (Yes. I like reading recipes!)

Not only are my feet human again, my nails are soooooo pretty that I can't stop looking at my fingers; she painted my fingernails a lovely nude shade of pink with glitter on the tips! :o

I'd wash my hands, then look at my fingers; admire my キラキラ fingernails while WoW-ing; touch the glittery tips while hoping that they do not come off (yes, I'm quite paranoid about the glitter coming off, now!); look at my pweety nails while driving....


.....yes. I'm beginning to think that beeyootiful nails are actually a hazard. A beautiful hazard. Le gasp.

But of course, that could just be me, revelling in my inner bimbo, and adoring pretty things. :D



I would soooo thank Lynette again for the pweety pweety manicure/pedicure, but, hor, she said that she's going to charge me if I said "thank you" again. Alamak!

Ironman was good. (I liked the gunmetal-silver prototype; it looked so sleek!)

I just remembered how I had a thing for Robert Downey Jr. (typo.) when he did that MTV for Elton John, and when he guest-starred in Ally McBeal.


He was hot in glasses and a suit, back then.

And now...


....still good-looking in his own way, but I was a little disappointed. :(

Between sleeping, WoW, catching up on my anime backlog, and talking to the few friends who actually bother, I've been holed up in my bedroom, pretty much.

I'm finally stepping out of the house for the first time since, eh, I got home on Saturday night.

Tomorrow noon, that is.

Lunch and a movie with Justin E and his friends tomorrow (or today, technically.), and then his birthday barbecue on Friday.

...after which I suspect I'll be shutting myself in at home again, unless Will and the rest want to come over and play games, or Jonno & Travers want to K.

Even the Matriarch is starting to get worried.

3. Fix an appointment at Strip – I have yet to clear my own package, and I've only got another 7 months or less to go.

4. Apply for my biometric passport.

5. Partay in Azeroth. (Blood elves are real hot, by the way. That said, I still love my characters on Gorgonnash, of course!)

6. Lounge in bed, watch DVDs.

8. I shall meet with the PussyKath more when she returns from Taiwan.

11. I want to go for another massage at Decleor with Serina, too.

I've been toying with the idea of tweaking my butterscotch meringue bars for greater chewiness+saltiness (I love salted caramel; why not a slightly saltier butterscotch?) for the butterscotch, and a little more fluffiness in the meringue. Maybe some grated lemon zest to add some zing. Hrm. I've been toying with the idea of a sacher-torte, too. Not to mention bread. And I really want to try out my new silicon baking sheets, too... AND OOH. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE. Not the classic one with real, crisp shortbread, though. I like fluffeh fluffeh sponge with chantilly cream and fresh strawberries. Hee.

13. Work on not sweating the small stuff. That is, not waste my effort on the people who obviously do not give a flying fuck. It's like a cancer that siphons my life force.

14. Sushi Kikuzawa. I need some of that orgasmic unagi & tamagoyaki.

15. Get used to solitude, once again.

16. Read. I've got Kath's novel and Margaret Atwood's The Blind Assassin sitting on my desk; I've also been meaning to re-read Plato, to see if my perception has changed since I last read it.
